News: CHANT's first full record, recorded in May 06 by Martin Atkins, is being produced by Mark DuFour (Skrew/Statenigs) and will be completed by the end of the year. The record contains 11 new tracks. A limited edition
photo book with Bradley's artwork, notes, and an additional bonus track will also be released. Each book will be signed, numbered, and handbound by Bradley. Release dates will be announced once distribution is secured. Album
previews will occur January 1st, 2007 on CHANT's Myspace site. Additionally, this site will soon be going offline for a complete overhaul. Thanks to everyone for giving Chantproject Ver1.0 a good run. |
| 6.29.06 | All I can say at this point is that the material for the record has been captured and sounds HUGE! For now, mixing, producing, and release details are still being sorted out. Most of you have figured out that the new record been recorded by Martin Atkins. It is taking time, but the first full record needs to be done right, right?!! So, thanks to everyone for your patience and for checking in from time to time. I promise it's going to be worth the wait! Until then, more shows as always, featuring the new songs too... and I'm even taking CHANT to places where I haven't been able to go previously. | 4.3.06 | CHANT is finishing pre-production work in Austin, TX this month and will travel to Chicago to record all drum tracks for the new record in May. Details regarding the Chicago sessions, as well as the album title and track listing, will be posted in the coming months. |

| 10.17.05 | Twelve brand new CHANT songs have been written over the past 4 months and finishing touches to their structure and programming are coming to a close. CHANT has scheduled a few last shows for 2005 before taking the time off needed to record the drumming for these tracks. We are looking forward to seeing all of you out and around Texas. |

Last month I had the pleasure of opening and performing with PIGFACE here in Austin, TX! Martin, Curse, and everyone involved with the Free For All Tour are so kind. Antonio at The Sanctuary on January 24th, once again opening for Attrition. As much as we would have
loved to support this fine act, this show was never confirmed and CHANT was never contacted about any
details regarding this show. We regret any confusion over this matter and hope that no one was inconvienced.

UPDATES AND CURRENT EVENTS: Due to Bradley's obligations with other music projects, a long awaited
vacation abroad, and current health conditions, Chant has taken an unpredicted hiatus. In spite of
the hiatus, Bradley has been hard at work with Filmmaker David Gott and his production company:
KTK Media, to complete Chant:Beginnings, a well-rounded sample of Chant shows and interview
footage. This project will be released on DVD to clubs and offered at shows in the coming months,
and segments will be available online here. Chant: Live shows are scheduled to resume this Fall. For a more detailed update, be sure and check out the logs in the Journal under the Biography section. |
